Faridabad: A house on Ghazipur Road caught fire on Wednesday due to a gas cylinder leakage. The family members managed to escape before the flames spread.
The fire department team brought the fire under control.
The house belongs to Dharmendra, who lives there with his family. On Wednesday afternoon, his wife, Gunjan, replaced the empty gas cylinder with a new one.
Shortly after, when she lit the stove to heat water, a sudden fire broke out.
Local residents immediately called Dial 112 to report the fire. Police spokesperson Yashpal Singh confirmed that there were no casualties. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
