Ballabhgarh: Two accused involved in attacking a police team in Jawa village have been arrested. The accused have been identified as Harshit and Harsh. After interrogation, they were presented in court and sent to jail.
The incident took place on Sunday in Jawa village under Chhainsa police station. A dispute over land led to a violent clash between two groups.
Upon receiving information, the police team arrived at the scene to maintain law and order. Both groups were attacking each other with sticks, rods, and petrol bombs. When the police attempted to intervene, they were also pelted with stones.
One group alleged that Rambabu and his family had illegally occupied their land and house. When they protested, they were attacked.
The police registered a case against six individuals from both groups. Among them, Harshit and Harsh have been arrested and sent to jail.
Another accused, Rambabu, is admitted to the hospital, while three others are absconding. Due to the tense situation in the village, a police force has been deployed.
